We took a one-night camping and rafting package from RiverStone Camps and I must say it was a great experience. We took the 1-night package with 26kms river rafting, Rishikesh camping in tents (right on the shores of a river) with food and the transport from and to the camp till their office (near Ram jhula)…this costed us something around 2 grand per person and everything met our expectations. The guide who was with us for rafting was superb…though it was the first time for most of us, the guide didn’t let us miss on any of the fun things…cliff jumping, surfing, standing on the raft in rapids, etc, etc.

They organize other activities also like trekking to the waterfall, nature walk, rappelling on some additional charges. There are some outdoor games at the campsite. As far as safety is concerned, someone always keeps a watch so that no one crosses the river or goes towards the jungle and gets lost. There is a power backup facility also and the organizer/owner visits the camp everyday evening and stays the night in camp.
